On Saturday afternoon, 27th October, the Harley-Davidson Club Cape Town, supported by our dealership caused more than a slight stir in the Republic of Hout Bay.
Almost 100 Harleys thundered off Suikerbossie Pass, escorted by the Traffic Police, all being a rolling Guard Of Honour for Mr. André Jacobs, Consul General of the Republic. Main Road was completely cordoned off and a large crowd eagerly gathered to see what the festivities were all about.
After the Harley riders m/f were officially instated as Knights of the Republic, the band started playing and many took the opportunity to go for a demo ride on one or more of the new demo fleet motorcycles of Harley-Davidson Cape Town.
The last Harleys passed the Republic's borders only well after sunset.
