BIKINI BIKE WASH NO SOAP OPERA

Saturday 28 February was the day of the first HARLEY-DAVIDSON CAPE TOWN 10th ANNIVERSARY event: a Bikini Bike Wash.

Although Somerset Road that day was the scene of the Gay Parade, it was more than obvious that the beautiful Bikini Bike Wash girls were not part of the cross dressers. Now you mention it: they were hardly dressed at all! The fundraising activity for the Salesian Institute across the road from the dealership also featured 13th Street Band Afro Fusion and even DJ Richard Hardiman from Kfm 94.5 filled the role of MC for a few hours. MC Peter John made good bucks auctioning off Jack Daniel´s and Harley-Davidson memorabilia for the Salesian Institute charity, helping street children to learn a skill and move up in life.
